BS 5839-1 recommends that commercial fire alarm systems are serviced at least every six months. Larger or higher-risk premises may need more frequent visits — we’ll advise based on your system and your fire risk assessment.
At least once a year, in line with BS 5306-3. Most extinguishers also need an extended service every five years, and CO² units need an overhaul every ten. We track all of this for you.
Yes — every visit ends with a service certificate and your logbook updated. These documents sit alongside your fire risk assessment and are what insurers and fire officers ask to see.
Almost always, yes. We’ll carry out an initial inspection, tell you honestly what state it’s in, and take it from there. There’s no charge for that first look if you go ahead with us.
